SHADOW

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty"

We should find our rest in the secret place, where the Lord himself is our shelter and comfort from the coming storms in our lives. The Lord is our hiding place his presence keeps us away from all evil as we abide in him and his word. Even when the days are full of trouble and bewilderment as children of God we eagerly await in his promises and have full assurance in his word to revive us back for his splendor. When fear and commotion of this world is clangorous than our faith lets choose to hearken his voice and tune ourselves and hark as quickly back to the secret place of the most High. There our hope is immovable. Hosea 14:7 Those who live in his shadow will again raise grain, and they will blossom like the vine. His renown will be like the vine of Lebanon.

In times of trials and crisis the Lord provides hope; that it will spring forth and grow as the vine, just as in winter it seems dead, but flourishes again. As we keep seeking his face we will find him. Psalm 121:5 The Lord is your keeper, the Lord is your shade at your right hand.

Psalm 17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye. Hide me in the shadow of your wings.

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
