The Mountain of God

What is the mountain of God ?

Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! Isaiah 49:15

The Lord affirms his love towards the people just like a mother to a child and even though circumstances abandon us he will remain faithful. We can continue to keep our trust in the Lord.

It is to trust in the Lord that this mountain of God cannot be shaken it endures forever.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore Psalm 125:1&2

It is his presence the secret place I dwell on a high place and holy place. And know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion my holy mountain and also the Lord of hosts who dwells on Mount Zion.

The presence is evident through worship, prayer and to abide in his word as we continue in our daily lives we will encounter Gods unconditional love encompassing us.
