At the end of the day I was watching a show with my beady eyes on. I was blown away watching the mothers assisting their 12 months old babies participate in a race. Obviously, as you are certain they were getting started to crawl from one end to another. A throng of people were cheering them up. It was such a pleasure watching these mothers gearing up their cherished one's.

The race begins the crowd exhilarates. They start crawling taking into consideration few of these babies were hesitant , shy, terrified and skeptical. While, there were some very inquisitive and kept going. Interestingly out of all those who began didn't make it to the finish line. How fascinating it was to observe the one who kept going forward against all odds. I pondered why? as we were fixing our gaze on the finish line this persistent child wouldn't stop at all and not trade for anything else his eyes were glued on to the Toy Car. As soon as he got closer he instantaneously grabbed and got hold of the toy car and won the race. There were an array of people welcoming the winner with great excitement and triumph.

Lets look at ourselves, and think through are we running for Jesus ? We should not run aimlessly. Let our eyes pursue the savior who awaits for us on the finish line, let him be your crown and preeminence to run for. Lest you wander away from any unworthy goals.

1 Corinthians 9: 24 & 27 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
