Are your words bearing much fruit?

Words play a significant role in our daily lives. If you wonder? Words that we speak determines the course of our life. Words have creative power they are powerful and bear fruits which are good or harmful such as a blessing, encouragement,, fruitfulness, goodness, wisdom, life, joy, patience, kindness, truth, praise, faith are good fruits. Anger, Jealousy, bitterness, judgement, gossip, pride, lying, are harmful and bad fruits. We need to comprehend that our thoughts become words and these words have power.

Proverbs 15:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

What kind of words should come out of our mouth that will be a blessing and gratifying in the sight of God?

The scriptures clearly points out one cannot bear much fruit if they do not speak life into existence. James 3:10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring?. My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.

While we gather around our tables lets choose to speak kind words for each other and revitalize our fellowship with one another. There is a correlation between our heart and mouth. Mathew 12:34 Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Sin will be unmasked in our speech. Proverbs 16;24 Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. We must align our speech with the word of God.

Proverbs 13;3 Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin. Mathew 12:36 We are asked to give account on every empty word that comes out of our mouth.

Lets renew our mind and follow the principles to live according to the calling we are called and bear much fruit in the coming days. Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's handwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Amen.
